The Orange County ALS chapter is sponsoring a walk on Saturday November 9, 2019 @ 7:00am. Their efforts lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy, while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. ALS or as also known as Lou is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control. It is estimated that approximately 5,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with ALS each year. There is currently no cure for the disease.

Cost: No fee, fundraising highly encouraged
