Ranch Santa Margarita – Splash Pad

Rancho Santa Margarita is moving closer to having a splash pad at its Central Park.

Mayor Mike Vaughn says the City Council approved an easement agreement with the city’s largest homeowners association, SAMLARC to have the amenity on Central Park land. The design and construction costs would be covered by developer fees.

He says it will be constructed on a pocket of land next to the existing playground which is near a restroom facility.  The land is 65-hundred square feet and the splash pad would occupy 35-hundred square feet.

He says he’s interested in having series of water features for children ages infants through teenagers for jaw dropping fun.

Vaughn anticipates the splash pad being ready for the public in June.
