Laguna Hills approves plan for Moulton Niguel Water District Consolidation

The Laguna Hills City Council has approved a Conditional Use Permit for the Moulton Niguel Water District to consolidate its operations at one site.

Laguna Hills Mayor Mel Carruth says the water district currently operates its administrative offices in Laguna Niguel and has its facility for crews and storage in Laguna Hills on Gordon Road off of Moulton Parkway.

She says the district wants to combine its operations at its Laguna Hills site for efficiency. And the new operations center would consist of three new buildings totaling nearly 65-thousand square feet for administrative offices and the renovation of two existing buildings totaling nearly 22-thousand square feet for warehousing and storage purposes.

She says construction plans are being worked on.
