There are a growing number of high-tech devices that will talk to you and do things at your command. But for those devices to talk to you, they have to listen. And that's an area of concern for those who worry about privacy. Many of the devices rolled out at the CES tech show in Las Vegas last week can record all kinds of personal data to help make you're your life simpler. But they also can complicate your life because they collect data. What happens to all that data? There's the rub. Users will have to keep tabs on how companies will use — and protect — their data. Last week, there was a report that the security-camera company Ring gave some employees and execs access to recorded and live video footage from users' homes.
