Mission Viejo Walk Against Drugs
Mission Viejo and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department will host its 31st Annual Walk Against Drugs and Community Fair on October 19th. Thousands of participants wearing red t-shirts displaying their support for a drug free life will move along La Paz Road from Mission Viejo High School, through Oso Creek to the Norman P. Murray Center. There will also be Disaster Preparedness Expo.
Event keynote speaker Deputy Aron Grumbles is living without a leg due to being hit by a distracted driver while on a motorcycle.
He says he uses his leg daily to show he has overcome challenges and stays in the fight to live.
Grumbles is among the guests on our public affairs show “Collage” which airs Monday evening at seven.
“Collage” may also be heard anytime on-line www.Jazz885.org.
