Mission Viejo Animal Care Services

The Mission Viejo Animal Care Services provides for the care, protection and control of animals that stray from their homes or are abused by their owners.

Manager Michelle Claud-Clemente says it has several different work units. One is field services where it picks up strays and handles emergencies along with collecting dead animals. Another is sheltering services where animals are taken when they’re in need of a home. It has adoption programs to help find forever homes for animals. It also has a robust volunteer program where people who care about animals may help at the shelter.

Besides Mission Viejo, it provides services for Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel and Rancho Santa Margarita.

Claud-Clemente is among the guests on our public affairs show “Collage” which airs this evening at seven.  The other guests are Supervising Officer Wendy Helton, Volunteer Coordinator Giselle Leal and Animal Care Technician Courtney Dustin

“Collage” may also be heard anytime on www.Jazz885.org.
