Laguna Niguel May remove and upgrade active bus shelters
The Laguna Niguel City Council may approve tonight, the plans and specifications for the upgrade of bus Shelters and bus benches.
Deputy City Manager Debbie Bell says the project also involves the removal of bus shelters and benches that are no longer serviced by Orange County Transportation Authority buses.
She says there are 26 locations of benches that would be upgraded.
She says the shelter colors and textures will closely complement the Entry Monument and Decorative Element Signs project currently underway.
One under construction is on Camino Del Avion at Crown Valley Parkway.
She says the total cost of the project would be nearly 950-thousand dollars.
Tonight’s City Council meeting begins at seven.
