Police find no sign of gunman at Southern California mall
Police who spent hours searching a massive Southern California shopping mall say they've found no sign of the gunman who wounded one person there.
Torrance police Sgt. Ron Harris says the 6 ½-hour search of Del Amo Fashion Center ended last night and police will continue looking for the attacker.
Details of the shooting are sketchy but Harris says the man who was shot is expected to recover.
The fashion center just south of Los Angeles is one of the nation's largest malls. Police from Torrance and neighboring communities had to search more than 250 stores.
The mall was shut down and people evacuated after the attack.
