Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families

Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of men and women who grew up in dysfunctional homes. They meet to share their experiences of growing up in an environment where abuse, neglect and trauma infected them.

Anonymous member Dr. Ann says she finally joined after a relationship break-up. And she realized after going to a meeting she had abandonment issues connected to her mother committing suicide as a child. She had a fear of being abandoned.
