Saddleback College may add programs to the Advanced Technology and Education Park

Saddleback College is looking to grow and form industry partnerships at the South Orange County Community College District’s Advanced Technology and Education Park, known as ATEP that’s located on the former Tustin Marine base.

District Public Affairs Director Letitia Clark says the district’s board saw Saddleback College President Dr. Elliot Stern’s presentation on his preliminary plan for ATEP.

The plan includes adding programs on Advanced Transportation and Logistics and Culinary and Hospitality.

She says these two industries have opportunities for partnerships and could be utilized by other community colleges in the area and there’s more potential for growth.

She says the preliminary plan has enthused Saddleback College staff and faculty who may be interested in relocating to ATEP to put on these programs.
