OC Gateway to Housing helps homeless Orange County families become self-supporting.

Executive Director Laura Miller says the organization provides transitional housing for at least 90 days in addition to very intensive supportive services including case management, on-site mental health therapy and subsidized child care. Sixty-eight percent of families consist of single mothers.

She says life skills are taught such as budgeting, how to keep a house clean and nutrition.
