Sawdust Art Festival features Make a Wish Pond

The Sawdust Art Festival, one of three summer art festivals in Laguna Beach along Laguna Canyon Road has several waterfalls and ponds.

One of them is named the “Make a Wish Pond.”

Pond Founder custom silver and goldsmith David Nelson says he came up with the idea three years ago to devote one of the ponds to the organization that grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. He says people naturally throw coins into ponds for their wishes and the money collected goes to the non-profit organization.

The Sawdust Art Festival is open daily through Sept. 1st between ten in the morning and ten at night.
