Homicide reported on Cal State campus in Fullerton

Authorities say someone has been killed on the campus of California State University, Fullerton.

The university says an assault with a deadly weapon was reported today in a parking lot on the campus.

Fullerton police are calling it a homicide, but Lt. Jon Radus says he doesn’t immediately have any details.

Campus police say the killing appears to have been carried out by what they called a "bladed weapon." They say they don't believe the suspect is on campus but more police have been dispatched as a precaution.

Authorities described the suspect as male with black hair and wearing black pants and a black shirt.
