2 arrested in death of man found stabbed on California road

A man and his girlfriend have been arrested on suspicion of killing a 62-year-old man found stabbed on a Southern California street. Investigators say the motive for the attack was robbery. Officers responding to calls Dec. 9 found the victim bleeding from a stab wound on Prospect Avenue in Tustin. David Nakaki was rushed to a hospital, where he died. Miguel Orellana from Anaheim and Erika Pineda from Santa Ana were arrested after detectives were able to place their car at the scene. Police Lt. Andy Birozy called it a "heinous and senseless crime."
