Aliso Viejo’s Mayor praises city
Aliso Viejo’s City Council tonight will select a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem for next year.
Outgoing Mayor Dave Harrington says the highlights of this year include maintaining Aliso Viejo’s status as one of the safest cities in America for a city its size. And it remains among the top ten cities to raise a family.
Harrington says another big accomplishment this year is breaking ground on the Aliso Viejo Ranch Project. Nestled at 100 Park Avenue, the project includes adaptive re-use of existing barn and bunkhouse, dating back to the late 1800s, construction of a replica barn that once stood on nearby property and a farm.
Tonight’s City Council meeting begins at seven.
