Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade

“Snow Much Fun” is the theme of tomorrow’s annual Laguna Niguel Holiday parade which begins at ten in the morning. It will run on Crown Valley Parkway between Nueva Vista and Crown Valley Community Park.

Parade Chairman Jim Taylor says there will bands, equestrian units and spirit-filled youth groups along with Star Wars characters.

He says the Sports Celebrity will be former Major League Baseball left-hand pitcher Mark Langston who had pitched for the Angels, San Diego Padres, and Seattle Mariners. The Grand Marshal is actor Richard Burgi who is best known for having a role on “Desperate Housewives.” He’s also a Laguna Niguel resident.

Taylor says the best way to get to the parade is to park your car at the Chet Holifield Federal Building and take a free shuttle that starts at eight in the morning and will continue until one in the afternoon. More information may be obtained on-line at www.LagunaNiguelParade.com
