Mission Viejo will keep its trash hauler

Mission Viejo residents will continue to have Waste Management haul away their trash.
The Mission Viejo City Council has selected Waste Management to be the waste services provider in the next contract period.
Mayor Greg Raths says it’s an eight year contract and the Council may later vote to continue it for an additional two years.
He says the choice was between Waste Management and CR&R and city staff had recommended the city remain with the current waste hauling provider.
