Ladera Ranch hosts public safety meeting
The Ladera Ranch Civic Council tonight will host its annual public safety meeting.
Council Chair Stephanie Ramsey says the Council will listen to representatives from the Orange County Fire Authority, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol and local Neighborhood Watches.
They will talk about what has occurred public safety wise last year, as well as current trends and give recommendations on what can be done to keep community safe.
She says although the community is generally safe, the biggest problem is crimes of opportunity. Residents may forget to lock doors of homes or cars and then criminals may ransack homes and or steal from vehicles.
Tonight’s Civic Council meeting begins at seven at the Oak Knoll Clubhouse on O’Neill Drive.
