Dead gray whale washes ashore at Malibu

A dead whale drew crowds after washing ashore at the west end of Malibu during the weekend.

The gray whale was found yesterday on the sand near the Ventura-Los Angeles county line.

Gray whales are currently migrating north from the lagoons of Baja California to feeding grounds in the Arctic.
