National Night Out

Millions of neighbors across the U.S. will participate in National Night Out festivities tomorrow. It’s held the first Tuesday in August.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Manager Carrie Braun says National Night Out is a community building campaign that encourages neighbors to meet neighbors and for the public to connect with law enforcement.

She says there are all sorts of events scheduled. You can find out about them by contacting your local law enforcement agency.

National Night Out was started by the National Association Town Watch. More information is available at www.NATW.org
